China rejected US president Donald Trump’s offer of mediation to resolve the border disputes between India and China,on friday.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijan said that we do not need the intervention of third party in the border dispute in India.
Over the last two weeks,chinese troops have clashed with the Indian Army at several points on the line of Actual control(LAC).
India and China do not share a defined border. Instead,there is the line of Actual control,which stretches thousands of kilometers from Ladakh all the way to Arunachal pradesh.
The dispute between India and China centres is at a strategic bridge built near Daulat Beg Oldi,a military post south of Karakoram pass.
china asked India to stop building Infrastructure even on its own side of the LAC.On the other hand,New Delhi has asked Beijing to maintain the status quo on the tuesday.
On Tuesday,Modi met the three service chiefs National security Advisor,Ajit DDova and chief of Defence General Bipin Rawat.
US president Donald Trump’s Tweeted offer that he was willing to mediate between New Delhi and Beijing to resolve the latest friction along the LAC on which China reigned the offer and said,’ we don’t need the third party.
