The place which is known as Heart of Delhi is not only Shopkeeper’s paradise but it is also a main commercial centre.A visit to CP is a must on every tourist, traveller, photographer and blogger’s schedule.A metro railway station built under it is named Rajiv Chowk .That station, Rajiv Chowk, is the interchange for the Yellow and Blue lines of the Metro and one of the largest and busiest stations in the network.
In evening, when traffic is at peak people still love to visit here for shop and enjoy themselves. Connaught Place is a well planned area which also consists two circles – the inner circle and the outer circle. Connaught Place’s central park has long been a venue for cultural events as well as central park is famous for Indian flag hoisted there.
In middle of area an underground Bazaar is situated which is very well known as Palika Bazaar. Cinema halls and restaurants increases the beauty of CP which attracts the people to visit here on daily basis.No evening is complete without window shopping. Beautiful saris, shoes, art objects, electronic gadgets are stunningly placed in windows which attracts the buyers to come and buy them.The verandas of CP are full of petty hawkers who love to argue about the prices of their products which is fun to buy from them after an intensive contest of bargaining.
