Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M took swift action after an elderly couple was made to wait for over an hour at the residential plot department. Despite a directive to assist the couple, a staff member ignored them. Lokesh M found out through CCTV footage and intervened directly.
He visited the office and punished the negligent staff by making them stand and work for 30 minutes. The video of the incident went viral, showing employees working on their feet.
The public had mixed reactions. Some praised the CEO for taking action, while others called for salary cuts. One user said, “The CEO deserves applause,” while another joked about the punishment resembling school discipline.
